August Newsletter

Hello August.

Directors Corner

August is upon us.  I don’t know what happened to July but here comes August.  Hopefully your gardens are full of goodies, the lawns are green again, and we have many new beach reads just waiting for you.  Come and check out what we have to offer.  Don’t forget about Libby and hoopla, too.  They have so many titles just waiting for you to check out.

A really big shout out to THANK YOU for supporting your Friends of the Library on Wednesday, July 12th with a fundraiser with Charlotte Pizza Hut.  They exceeded last year’s goal by a lot.  Again, the Potterville community came together and helped the Friends of the PBTDL.

Don’t wait to turn in your reading logs.  Our Summer Reading Program “All Together Now” is coming to a close.  The program ends on August 5th, so please get your reading logs in now.  We have some great prizes just waiting for you!  I want to thank all of the sponsors that help make this event possible.  YOU made a lot of kids and adults very happy readers!!!

The library staff is going to need your support!  We are going to be closed for three days in August because we are getting a new circulation system which means lots of training on our side.  Once we are trained, then we will turn around and help you become acquainted with Atriuum.  I truly think you will find the new system friendly and easy to use.

Have a great month and I will see you soon!
