The Potterville Benton Township District Library will charge the following costs for any lost or damaged books,
DVD’s and Books on Tape for which the original or replacement price is not available.

Children’s Hardback Fiction $25.00

Children’s Paperback $20.00

Children’s Kits (Book/CD) $40.00

Children’s Hardback/Paperback Non-Fiction $30.00

Children’s Hardback/Paperback Reference $40.00

Children’s Paperbacks $15.00

Books On Tape/CD $40.00

PlayAways $50.00

DVD’s (Single) $25.00

DVD’s (Series) $100.00

Lost Library Card $5.00
(1 st replacement is no charge)

The patron may have the option of replacing the lost or damaged item with a new item in the same format in
lieu of the above fee.
As of January 1989, the Library Board of Trustees put into effect the following addition to the lost or damaged
item policy:
“Library privileges will be revoked when a patron is billed for overdue books, DVD’s, Playaways or
Books on Tape, etc. Privileges will be returned to the patron when the property is returned to the Library or
when restitution has been made.”
