November Newsletter

Autumn leaves surrounding a wooden sign that reads "November."

Director's Corner,

HELLO November!  The air is crisp and the leaves have fallen.  What’s next?  SNOW!  Oh yes, I think that is coming soon, too.  Get out and enjoy all that is happening outside.

Wow I can’t believe it is that time of the year again for us at the Library to ask you for some help.  In the past, you have been so generous with donations of hats, gloves and mittens.  We are hoping that you can again help families in the Potterville Community keep warm this winter.  If you could purchase a hat, gloves or mittens for any age group and put it on our Giving Tree, the Library thanks you so much.  The Library is, also, gathering non-perishable items to help Potterville Straight Up with their Thanksgiving Baskets and Hope Tree Baskets.  Example, green beans, stuffing, yams, cream of mushroom soup, or anything that you use for your Thanksgiving Dinner would be so appreciated.  I thank you for helping our community this holiday season.

Have you wanted to be a Friend of the PBTDL?  If so, give me a call or email friendsofpottervillelibrary@gmail.com to find out more about what they do.  With their support, the library is able to provide and make readily available library services necessary to meet the education, information, recreational and cultural need of this community.  I look forward to hearing from you.  Thank You.

Let’s keep in touch this month.  Come in and browse our new collection of materials.  Have a fantastic Thanksgiving!
