October Newsletter

Director's Corner,
Hello! Leaves, Lattes, and Sweater Weather!
What a great time to get out and enjoy the colorful beauty of Michigan. It surrounds us. Lots of football games, homecomings, long walks plus lots of reading time. Your library has a number of new selections arriving every day. Come in and enjoy the new John Grisham thriller or maybe you are ready to get started on the holiday classic. Whatever you are in the mood for, stop in, and let us help you find the perfect book.
Remember, our Story Time program has started up every Tuesday morning at 10:30. Come in and join Sam for dancing, silly songs and a craft. Also starting up is the Viking Lego Club each Tuesday afternoon at 3:00. Let’s build some fantastic projects. Our Book Club is in full force on the second Wednesday of each month. If you are interested in joining any of these events, please come and see what we are all about.
The Friends of the PBTD Library were very thankful for your support during their 5th Annual Craft Show held at the Country Mill. What a fantastic weather weekend for stopping by, eating some fresh made donuts and getting started on your holiday shopping. Please remember that their Well Read Book Shed is open every Tuesday. There are some great finds out there all donated by you. Thank you for your continued support of the Friends.
What’s on my Night Stand? I just finished Carley Fortune’s new book “Our Perfect Storm”. It’s about two people who have been best friends since they were eight years old. Now, life changes have put a strain on their friendship. Will they be able to get back together to mend their friendship? Now, I am digging into the Book Club October read.
Where ever life takes you in October, enjoy the adventure!
