It's Back To School Time.

Directors Corner

All students are back in school!  Where did this summer go?  Fall sports are about to start, leaves will be starting to turn and our days will be getting shorter.  I am not ready for that, but there is a lot to look forward too.  Our Library Programs will be starting very soon.  Don’t forget that we will have our Story Time starting back up on Tuesday, September 12th  at 10:30  and the Viking Lego Club will be starting on the same day at 3:00.    Please contact the library or look at our website for more information.  Please call and get your kids signed up.  I am looking forward to seeing you.

For your library, the PBTDL staff has been finishing up the Summer Reading Program and it appears that you have out done yourselves once again with reading 2,672 books.  Congratulations to our readers for a job well done.  I hope you had as much fun as we did.  Again, thank you to all of our sponsors.  We truly appreciate you and what you do for our community.

Staff News:  We have been in training for our new Atriuum Circulation System and have now gone live with it.  Please let us know if you need any help getting started.  There is a mobile app called “Librista” that I think you will find exciting and easy to use.  Also, I want to introduce you to our newest staff member, Jan Bartz.  Please stop in and introduce yourself.  Jan will be heading up our Story Time  program and helping you at the Circulation Desk. I know that she has some fun things planned for Story Time.  Jennie and I are excited in welcoming Jan to the library and community.

Have a great start to September!  I hope to see you at the 3rd annual Friends of the Library Craft Show on September 30th and October 1st right at the Country Mill.  There is going to be lots of unique craft items.  Stop by and say hi at our booth.
