Director's Corner,

HELLO FALL!  It appears that we are getting ready for some crisp sweater weather.  WOW – how the weather changes overnight!  All is fantastic at your library.  We are gearing up for Story Time to return (September 9th) as well as the Viking Lego Club.  If you have not had a chance to sign up the kids for either club, it is not too late.  Come in and we will get you signed up.  Samantha is looking forward to meeting each and every one of you.  Yes, we do have a new member of the library staff.  You can guess – her name is Samantha.  Kaylee and I are very excited to welcome her to the Potterville community.  She is currently attending Wayne State University to study a master’s degree in Library and Information Science.  Stop in and say hi!  WELCOME ABOARD Sam!

Please mark your calendar for the “Friends of the PBTD Library Annual Craft Show” at the Country Mill on Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th.  It is a fantastic way to get started on your Christmas list.  Jan and the Friends of the Library have put together another great list of vendors.   There are some really creative individuals coming with their wares.  Please don’t miss it.   Stop in and say hi at the Friends table.

Kanopy!  Have you heard of it?  If not, please ask us about it.  What can you watch on kanopy?

Start watching - you will be amazed at the selection!

Your library has some great surprises waiting for you in the next couple of months.  I can’t wait to share them with you.  Have a wonderful September.  Go Vikings!
